Slim Quarter Oak
Light sand-coloured ground with fine, straight oak grain. A calm, even surface.
2850 × 640 × 0.5 mm
Quote NT-124 engineered-veneer models — quarter, crown, burl and eye — made from real wood and re-composed so that a pattern can be specified, matched and reordered by its catalogue code.
Engineered (reconstituted) veneer is made from real wood: fast-growing timber is peeled, dyed, laminated into a block and sliced again, so the figure is designed rather than found. Every leaf from a model matches the swatch, which is what makes it the material of choice for large, repeating surfaces — doors, wardrobes, wall panelling and contract furniture.
Our NT collection runs to 24 models. Most are supplied as 2850 × 640 × 0.5 mm sheets; NT-36 and NT-500 are 660 mm wide, and NT-505 and NT-506 are 2500 mm long. Any model can also be supplied pressed onto MDF — see veneered MDF.
Both are real wood. The difference is whether the face depends on the log you happen to get, or on a code you can write into a drawing.
Natural veneer changes from log to log. Engineered veneer is re-composed so that every leaf repeats the figure on the swatch — across a hotel corridor, a run of doors or a reorder a year later.
Sheets run 2850 × 640 mm on most models with no knots, splits or sapwood to cut around, so yield on the press is predictable and offcut is low.
Every model carries a code. Quote it, approve the swatch, and the same code brings back the same face — no flitch to reserve, no sequence to protect.
Swatches show the general colour and figure. Screen and print tones vary, so request a physical sample before final colour approval.
Straight, even stripes — the quiet face for large runs of doors and panels.

Real wood veneer, re-composed so that every leaf carries the same figure. Chosen by catalogue code, and reordered by the same code a year later — the match does not depend on finding another log.

Engineered veneer is real wood veneer that has been peeled, dyed, laminated into a block and sliced again, so every leaf carries the same figure and colour. It is chosen by a model code rather than by log, which means a pattern can be matched across a large project and reordered later without hunting for a matching flitch.
Quote the model code from the catalogue — for example NT-300 Grey Quarter — together with the quantity in sheets or square metres and your destination port. Swatches can be sent before an order for colour approval, because screen and print tones are never exact.
Most models are 2850 × 640 mm at 0.5 mm thick. NT-36 Platinum Quarter and NT-500 Grey Burl are 2850 × 660 mm, and NT-505 Gold Eye and NT-506 Silver Eye are 2500 × 640 mm.
Yes. Any model in the NT catalogue can be supplied as veneered MDF, faced on one side or both. Board format and thickness are confirmed on quotation.
